She is currently in her fourth season with Tapestry Dance Company in Austin. Through her work with Tapestry she has been very fortunate to learn from such masters as Jeni LeGon, Harold Cromer, Brenda Buffalino, Sarah Petronio, Arthur Duncan, Dianne Walker, and of course, Tapestry's artistic director, Acia Gray. She is currently touring with the company in their production of "The Souls of Our Feet" which was selected for a grant by the NEA: American Masterpeices in Dance. Katelyn makes it back to Dallas as often as she can to choreograph for Michelle Stafford's Performing Company at Next Step Dance Performing Arts Center and to work with the up and coming talent of the Drawbacks Youth Tap Ensemble!

Kia Wilson has been a dancer for for 16 years. Dance has always been a passion of hers because it allowed her to express herself through movement. She started off as a praise dancer for her church. While in Middle School she was apart of the dance team. She then became a Cedar Hill High Stepper when she was in high school. After graduation she attended Kilgore College where she began more formal dance training in ballet, jazz, and modern. She has had experience in choreographing and also teaching dance workshops. She has also had the opportunity of assisting in teaching the praise dance workshop at The National Baptist Youth Convention Inc. She has worked with children for almost 5 years. She enjoys working with children because she realizes that they are our future and she wants to help them reach their full potential in Christ.
