The year 2010 is the year for Project M.I.C.A.H.
How do I know this? Well, it has been evident by the flood of blessings that have been poured in our direction.
It all began the 1st of January. The Lord put Jeremiah 29:11 on my heart. "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans for good and not disaster, to give you a future and a hope." I've heard and read this verse plenty times prior to January first but this time it was different. I cant get it out of my mind. Literally every few days an email, check or an interest in the future of M.I.C.A.H. has come in. Not to mention the revelations He is placed in my life personally. Its all connected in some way.
The day of the workshop was amazing and this is how. . . .
To see zero gift cards turn into twenty-three. To initially have no space to now having a place to host workshops bi-monthly. To see the kids walk though the front door full of energy. To see them cross racial barriers and make friends while enjoying the art form of dance. To expose them to a little bit of history and hear what they learned from it. To see the expressions on the faces of parents as they watched their little ones show off their moves. To see volunteers full of life give unselfishly of their time and energy to make this event successful. To see little boys learning ballet and enjoying it. To see young woman minister the Grace of God through movement. To see lovely smiles and hear cute laughs throughout the day. To see them get frustrated but never give up. To see timidity at first evolve into unrestrained comfort and enjoyment. To expose youth to dance, history and most of all the love of Christ. To sow a seed of faith and reap the rewards of Gods Abundant Blessings. . . . PRICELESS!
